We keep dogs with their families by directly addressing the root causes of surrender - economic, behavioral and tenant/insurance issues.
Canine Assistance, Resource and Empowerment (C.A.R.E.) Kits are customized to fit the needs of the individual dog. Kits include food; treats; toys; equipment such as harnesses, leashes, collars and crates; 1:1 behavioral training; spay/neuter assistance; vaccinations and other medical care.
We collaborate with local Housing Authorities, landlords and property managers to secure dog friendly housing for our families. We also work with insurance companies that do not discriminate against certain breeds of dog to provide home owner's and dog liability policies.

We work closely with area Animal Control Officers to receive referrals of dogs in need of shelter. When all efforts to get a dog to live inside are exhausted, we provide custom built, fully insulated dog houses called Kondos. All Kondos come with straw to provide additional warmth and heated water buckets.
