Kane’s Pawsome 5K Run/Walk

FAQ

 Why run/walk for pet families?

To end animal homelessness, it makes sense to help loved dogs stay in their furever homes. There are many reasons people face surrendering their dog - financial, difficulty finding dog-friendly housing and behavioral issues. Kane’s Krusade works closely with low-income pet families to address their challenges and keep their dog out of a shelter. Companion animals are essential to many of the most vulnerable populations - the disabled, elderly, veterans and unemployed. Keeping a pet family together strengthens the well-being of people and pets. It also saves tax payers money by decreasing the number of dogs animal control officers must process and local shelters must handle.

What does the Pawsome 5K cost?

The entrance fee for runners and walkers is the same - $30. Advance registration is required.
